Witney Town enjoyed their best result this season with victory at high-riding Baldock Town in the Dr Martens League Eastern Division last night despite having skipper Gary Murphy sent off.
Town, who went into the game without key men Jason Caffel and Keith Knight, were reduced to ten men late in the first half when Murphy was given his marching orders for clipping Fenton's heels when he was clean through.
It was the worst possible end to a drab first half for Witney which had seen them have a narrow escape when Dellar hit the crossbar.
But it was a different story at the start of the second half as Witney scored twice inside the opening 90 seconds.
Tom Radcliffe's cross was met by Andy Keveran who buried a powerful header for his first goal for the club. And then straight from the restart, Keveran was tripped in the area and Kevin Willetts blasted home the resulting penalty.
It took two tremendous goal-line clearances by Steve Tavinor to deny Dellar, before Fenton pulled a goal back for Baldock with a low shot 12 minutes from time.
But with Tom King pulling off two fines saves, Witney held on.
