A computer software company has won a regional award for its success in helping to strengthen British exports in the global market, writes David Duffy.
Software 2000, based at the Oxford Science Park, won the prize in the Trade Partners UK Export Awards for Business 2000. The company, a former Oxfordshire Business of the Year winner, provides Windows and Macintosh compatible printer drivers.
Software 2000 recognised six years ago that colour inkjet printers would be a key product in the future, and developed a product to improve poor print quality and speed.
The company's technological achievement have been recognised with a Prince of Wales Award.
