Oxfordshire under 18s went down 2-0 to a more physical Hampshire side in the South West Counties Youth Championship at Southampton.
Despite playing the better football, Oxon went behind to a disputed penalty after 35 minutes.
In the second half, Oxon continued to take the game to their opponents and Bunce was denied when his fierce shot was turned away by the Hants keeper.
The visitors went further behind when the defence failed to cut out a cross.

Summertown Stars secured their second win of the season in Elsevier League Division 2 with a 3-1 success over Florence Park.
A stunning free kick from Rob MacDougall Davis opened the scoring for the Stars before a long-range effort from Craig Woods levelled matters.
Two second-half goals by MacDougall Davis completed his hat-trick and secured the points for Summertown.
All the goals came in the second half as Quarry won 3-2 at Milton, whose scorers were Peter Moody and Russell Gibbs. Nick Miles, A M Winfield, and James Slee netted for the winners.
