Frilford Heath maintained their two-point advantage at the top of the Shaw & Co Oxfordshire Foursomes League Section 1 table with a narrow 2-1 victory at home to Buckingham.
With both sides notching one-hole victories, it was left to Dave King and Alex Gavrilovic's 5-4 win to swing the match Frilford's way.
Second-placed Hadden Hill, meanwhile, triumphed 2-1 at home to Ellesborough thanks to victories for the pairings of Richard Lee and Leon Beer, and Steve Webb and Paul Chana.
There was a shock in Section 3, where leaders Hazlemere lost their 100 per cent record with a 2-1 defeat at nearest rivals Tadmarton Heath.
Juniors were to the fore at Burford GC's presentation evening, when they picked up eight major trophies.
Four of them went to 15-year-old Richard Hitchman, who won the Bill Skinner Putter, Captain Dodd's salver, the Baker Spoons and Harvest Cup.
Junior captain Adam Salter won the Buckland Cup, while Matthew Townsend lifted the May medal and Jim Cousins Trophy.
The Gale Cup awarded to the player with the most consistent nett scores went to another junior, David Ewers.
