Magdalen Arms maintained their 100 per cent record with a late goal in their Division 4 top-of-the-table clash at Arncott, writes Geoff Bower.
Arncott took the lead after five minutes, when Dave Hislop headed home, and held on until the hour-mark when Lee Sharkey converted a Magdalen breakaway.
With time running out, it appeared honours would be shared, but Magdalen scored a late winner.
Roebuck went 2-0 up in the first half at Mansfield Road Res through Gary Rudman and Darren Barber. But they lost their way in the second half as they felt decisions went against them and allowed Mansfield to snatch a 3-2 victory.
In Division 5, AGC Porto got their act together in the second half to beat bottom club Bush Rangers 3-0 with goals from Kirk Rectin, Kevin Kennedy and Rob Harvey.
