A unique specialist recruitment agency for the publishing industry is celebrating its first birthday with booming business.

Inspired Selection was launched by Lynne Sullivan and Jo Wilcock in October 1999 and the firm has enjoyed tremendous success in its first year, with many of Oxford's publishing houses among its clients.

Lynne and Jo have also been approached by an increasing number of publishers in other areas, including London and as far afield as Hong Kong.

The company, based in Cornmarket, Oxford, now has a register of more than 400 candidates, from all areas of publishing including editorial, production, design, rights and marketing and at all levels from entry level to senior management.
