A rock legend is to give an acoustic performance in an Oxfordshire restaurant.
Wild Willy Barrett, who has worked with U2, Sting, Squeeze and Madness, will give a concert at The Crooked Billet in Stoke Row.
It may not be the biggest rock venue in the world, but the acoustic gig at 8pm next Sunday, November 5, promises "Milliganesque satire combined with excellent classical, jazz and blues guitar, fiddle and banjo".
Willy first achieved fame in the 60s when he declined an offer to join the Rolling Stones after Brian Jones died.
In the 70s he enjoyed chart success with John Otway.
More recently, his energies have been channelled towards the design and manufacture of contemporary furnishings, and he has a gallery in Lechlade.
