West Witney won through to the third round of the EHA Under 15 Cup by beating Newlands School, Maidenhead 3-2 at Cressex.
The Witney girls got off to a perfect start when Carly Scott converted their first short corner after five minutes.
Witney looked as though they were going to run away with the match when Scott converted Witney's second short corner after 12 minutes.
However, Newlands responded with a goal from a short corner before half-time.
In the second half, Alyson Billington stretched the Witney lead when she cracked home their third goal from another short corner.
With weather conditions deteriorating and legs tiring, Newlands snatched their second goal from open play after a mix-up in the Witney circle.
