Patients at a community hospital have two new video recorders, thanks to people living nearby.
Residents of Orchard Way and Saxon Way, Witney, raised money for a Millennium street party and were left with some to spare.
With the help of Delnevo's TV shop in the High Street, they spent 300 on the two video recorders for Witney's community hospital.
One of the organisers, Ian Paton, said: "There are 33 house in the two roads and we must have had about 140 people on the day. We started with sports on Henry Box School playing fields and followed it with a barbecue and street party."
