Star Royal's 100 per cent Premier Division record was blown away as they suffered their first defeat of the season at home to Oxford Supporters, writes Geoff Bower.
Supporters settled better in the blustery conditions and it was no surprise when they took the lead after 15 minutes through Mickey Herbert.
Star battled back and, despite missing a penalty, levelled after 35 minutes through Matty Phillips.
Supporters then took command after the break and went 41 up through Ani Odhiambo and a Carl Henry brace.
Star's Matt Bianchini pulled one back but Supporters were well worth their victory.
The other main contenders for the title, Highfield and Rose Hill, battled out a 33 draw in a hard, physical game at a windswept Bicester.
Highfield, playing with the elements at their backs, took a first-half lead through Sam Donaldson. Rose Hill then made full use of the wind to equalise early after the break through James Ford, and Michael Bateman put them 2-1 up.
Highfield got back on level terms when Wayne Blossom equalised, but Hill again took the lead with Ford netting his second. They looked to be heading for victory until Donaldson snatched his second for a late equaliser and a share of the points.
In a fiercely-contested game, AFC Jericho were flattered by the final 4-0 scoreline as they saw off Star Wanderers.
Dean Joseph gave Jericho the lead after 15 minutes and Danny Williams doubled their lead by the break.
Wanderers battled hard but an outstanding performance by Gary Howkins in the Jericho defence prevented them getting back into the game, allowing Simon Silver to snatch a second-half brace.
Division 2 top dogs Yarnton Village rode their luck for a 3-2 victory over White Horse, Headington.
Despite taking a first-half lead through Steve Billington, Yarnton could not hold the Horse, who equalised through Paul Robinson within a minute of the restart.
Yarnton went ahead again when Lee Lishman was adjudged to have been pushed in the box and Ian Kibblewhite converted the spot kick, but Dave Willins headed home from a corner to level it up again. Horse then missed a penalty which proved costly as Stephen Lutener snatched all the points for Yarnton with a late strike.
Tackley and British Bio Tec had a ding-dong battle which eventually went Bio Tec's way 4-3.
Martin Watson and Tony Wetherall (2) were on target for Tackley, with Simon Dickens, David Brown and John Herbert (2) replying for Bio Tec.
AFC Jericho Res could not believe their luck as visitors The Letting Shop snatched all the points with virtually their only shot of the game for a 10 victory.
