Printers Alden Group, based in Osney Mead, Oxford, was presented with its Investor in People Award by John Harwood, chief executive of the new Learning and Skills Council, writes Sarah Parker.
Mr Harwood said: "Alden is a company with a good record for training its staff." He said the staff should all be proud that their hard work was recognised.
William Alden, group managing director and chairman of the Print and Graphic Communication National Training Organisation, said IIP recognition in the printing industry was still low.
"I am proud that the Alden Group is setting an example. There is much training to be done in our industry and I hope that others will follow us in achieving IIP recognition."
