Fans of the hit television series Ground Force will be able to see Oxfordshire willow sculptor Matthew Meers alongside the more familiar members of the cast tonight (November 3).
Alan Titchmarsh and Charlie Dimmock will be joined by Mr Meers, 32, of Wood Green, Witney, as they transform an Edinburgh back garden.
Viewers will be able to see Mr Meers construct a 6ft by 7ft castle out of willow, while Charlie builds a brook water feature. Meanwhile, Alan Titchmarsh attends to the plants.
Mr Meers was contacted by the BBC in August.
He said: "They flew me up to Edinburgh and I was there for a day-and-a-half. It was brilliant fun. They are all so down to earth. Alan is really friendly while Charlie is brilliant to work with. She is a real grafter."
Researchers for the programme contacted Mr Meers after he had a stand at this year's Hampton Court Palace Flower Show.
The programme goes out at 8pm on BBC 1.
