Thames Valley Police have turned down Oxford United's request to lift the all-ticket restriction on tomorrow's match at the Manor against Bristol Rovers.
The same fixture last season saw the Cuckoo Lane reach capacity, with a number of Rovers' fans locked out.
Despite poor sales at both Oxford and Bristol, the police still fear a similar number of supporters could travel from Bristol if the restrictions were to be lifted. They have, however, agreed that tickets may be sold until 12.00 noon tomorrow.
After this time, only those with match or season tickets will be able to watch.
Supporters can buy tickets either by phone or in person, before midday tomorrow. Those wishing to book by phone tomorrow morning (01865 761503) with a credit or debit card are advised to do so early. Phone lines and the ticket office open at 9.00 am.
