A library for people with disabilities may be forced to close unless more volunteer helpers can be found.
Wallingford Leisure Library, which is based at the Community Education Centre at Wallingford School in St George's Road each Wednesday evening during term-time, is desperately short of helpers and committee members.
Chairman Jane Hawker said: "We offer a crucial service, and have benefited from donations from the local community, but if we can't find more volunteers to help the people make use of our facilities, and make refreshments, we will have to close."
The library, a registered charity, has a pool table, table-tennis, computers with specially-adapted software, music cassettes and instruments, and arts and crafts.
Users are often accompanied from local supported housing by care workers, but more helpers are needed if the library is to survive.
Anyone who can spare time to help keep the library running should call Mrs Hawker on 01491 836710.
