MAGDALEN College Junior School's footballers enjoyed an excellent tour of the Channel Islands.
The Oxford youngsters, taking part in what has become a biennial event, began their tour with wins over Queen Elizabeth's College, Guernsey in a six-a-side tournament.
They then moved on to Jersey where they went down 6-2 to a strong Victoria Prep School side in an 11-a-side match played in heavy rain.
Magdalen completed their tour by taking part in a six-a-side tournament which featured teams from all over Jersey and the touring Moulsford Preparatory School.
And Magdalen A finished joint runners-up, ending on a high note with a 1-0 win over Victoria Prep in the last match.
