Wantage MP Robert Jackson has joined youngsters for the official opening of a fun-filled after-school club.
The Fisz For Fun club at Faringdon Infants School has already proved a huge hit with parents and children.
The club, which is based at the Lechlade Road school, opened in June following a 7,600 grant from the government's New Opportunities Fund.
During his visit, Mr Jackson met the club's 16 youngsters, who are aged five-11, and viewed samples of their work.
Club co-ordinator Anna Marlow said: "This is an entirely non profit-making club set up to help parents.
Parents have said this is something they need and demand for places has exceeded what we can offer.
