Police believe a haul of body jewellery, snatched from a shop window, has been sold.
Around 150 decorative studs and rings, worth almost £1,000, were taken from the Mirror Image store in Wantage Market Place on October 20.
The jewellery used for body piercings was attached to a display card, which was removed while staff were busy in another part of the shop. Two girls have been arrested in connection with the theft and released on police bail.
Although some of the jewellery has been recovered, police believe most of it has already been sold, possibly to unsuspecting members of the public.
Call police on 01235 776000 with any information.
