Youngsters filled boxes with Christmas goodies for children in war-torn countries.
Children at Turbo Teds nursery, in Park End Street, Oxford, collected toys, colouring pencils and sweets to send to youngsters in Kosovo, Bosnia and Romania.
The nursery, which has 72 places for children aged between three months and five years, has been taking part in the Samaritans Operation Christmas Child for five years.
Manager Kate Launder said: "It is a good thing for parents to do with the children. Some of the children even put their own toys in. It is important that they should think of other children who don't get as much as they do.
"The children get a lot of enjoyment from it they help wrap the boxes and talk about where they are going and how they will get there.
"We talk about the children opening their boxes on Christmas Day when the children here are opening their presents."
