Nigel Roberts smashed home a 30-yard free kick in the last minute of extra time to give Blackbird Leys a dramatic golden goal winner and a thrilling 6-5 victory at Carterton Rangers in the second round.

Stevie Haines (2), a Craig Beal penalty, Danny Lawrence and Delroy Thomas were Blackbird's other marksmen.

Mark Nash was another golden goal hero as West Witney defeated AFC Carterton 2-1 in extra time.

In an ill-tempered game, a player from each side was dismissed, and West Witney's Wayne Harding and Lee Manning had penalties saved by Carterton keeper Jason Day before they snatched victory.

Normal time had seen a fine individual goal from Harding equalising Gary Angus's opener for Carterton.

Cutteslowe beat Lesme 9-8 in a marathon penalty shoot-out after their tie finished 3-3 after extra time. Andy Potter was Cutteslowe's hero in normal time with a superb hat-trick as his side came from behind three times.

Holders Enstone were given a scare by Kidlington Old Boys before emerging 2-1 winners.

Kidlington took a deserved first-half lead and managed to hold on to until late goals from Craig Hovard and Paul Allen saw Enstone through.

But Cowley Workers, runners-up last year under the name of County Snooker, bowed out 4-3 at home to BCS Bardwell with their fate being sealed by a golden goal from Robert Honour in extra time.

Darren Ali also shone for Bardwell with a hat-trick, while Damien Brackett (2) and Michael Bateman netted for Cowley.

Wootton Sports pulled off a shock 3-2 win over Kingham, who contributed to their own downfall with two own goals before conceding a penalty from which Paul Galdingbound scored the winner.

Barton came away from Minster Lovell with a 2-1 win thanks to a cracking header from Kenny Cox and Oviril Campbell's clincher.
