Skoda Auto has announced revised pricing for its Fabia and Felicia ranges.
The sales packages offered for Fabia and Felicia no longer include servicing, resulting in price cuts of 299 on all Fabia models and 199 on Felicia.
Skoda Auto's head of marketing, Chris Hawken, said: "Removing the servicing package from Fabia and Felicia has enabled us to cut the on the road prices, and respond to the customer's wish for very transparent pricing on new cars. This completes our clear pricing structure, bringing the Fabia and Felicia package in line with the new Octavia."
The Car of the Year 2000, the Skoda Fabia, now starts at 7,700 for a 1.4-litre Fabia Classic, rising to 12,100 for the top of the range Fabia Elegance 1.9TDi.
The Felicia range starts at 6,000 for the entry level Felicia Popular hatch, and 8,500 for the Felicia Classic estate 1.9D. Skoda pricing includes three years' unlimited mileage warranty, three years' roadside assistance, 12 months road tax and delivery fuel.
Skoda's Octavia GLX TDI estate returned an average fuel consumption figure of 52.58mpg over the two-day, 600-mile course in the recent RAC/Fleet World MPG Marathon. The team finished third overall out of nine cars in the large diesel class, including the Chrysler Voyager TD, Peugot 406, Freelander, BMW 320D, Seat Alhambra TDi, Saab 9-3TiD, Citroen Synergie Hdi and Rover 45TD.
