Villagers worried about a major housing proposal are to meet next week.
Caversfield Parish Council is holding an extra meeting to discuss the idea that 1,570 houses should be built on the RAF Bicester airfield site.
Parish council chairman Odette Phipps said: "We want to hear people's views. We have just a week to make a response. Many people have already commented but we want the opinions of people in Caversfield and Bicester."
The controlling Conservative group on Cherwell wants to switch the houses, to be built up to 2011, to the airfield from other proposed sites around the town.
The parish council will meet in Southwold primary school, Holm Square on the Southwold estate on Tuesday, November 14, at 7.30pm.
