Computer firm RM has been awarded a Department for Education and Employment contract to develop digital learning courses in maths for secondary schools, writes David Duffy.
The contract is part of a 5m DfEE initiative to develop technology-based learning in key curriculum areas. RM, of Milton Park, near Abingdon, is piloting its digital learning service, mathsAlive!, which is aimed at 11 to 14-year-olds, in 20 schools.
Chief executive Richard Girling said: "We're delighted to be working with the DfEE to push forward the frontiers of teaching and learning in the UK."
