Twenty patients at the Rivermead Rehabilitation Centre, Abingdon Road, Oxford, still are waiting for the all-clear after the swollen River Thames threatened to flood it.
Many of the unit's long-term patients have been referred after suffering major brain injuries.
Nuffield Orthopaedic Trust spokesman Sally Watts said both patients and their carers were coping extremely well at the temporary beds at Ritchie Russell House, based at the Churchill Hospital, in Headington.
She said: "We are still on flood alert, but in the meantime it's business as usual."
Meanwhile, eight patients transferred from Bicester Hospital, after a central heating system sprang a leak, are back in their beds.
