A new club has been formed to make sure a town's long brewing history is never forgotten.
The club is called 1711 - the date the brewery in Abingdon opened, and the first reunion of former Morland staff will be held next Saturday - the 17th day of the 11th month - at 17.11 (5.11pm).
The Morland brewery in Ock Street shut earlier this year after the company was bought by Greene King.
Reunion organiser Silvana Payne said: "Staff who worked at Morlands came up with this way of keeping in touch and celebrating the town's brewing history at the same time.
The reunion will be held at The Brewery Tap pub in Ock Street.
