Abingdon overcame the loss of two goalkeepers last week to hold Sussex League side Burgess Hill to a replay in Saturday's second-round tie.
Geoff Morton answered the call to play in goal when No 1 keeper Simon Tricker joined Banbury United, No 2 Carl Wilkins left for Brackley and third choice Jake Eggby was cup-tied.
In truth, Morton had only a handful of saves to make.
The first half was best forgotten as neither side came to terms with the wet conditions and both defences dominated.
After half-time, United set about trying to break down the solid visitors rearguard.
Mark O'Hara hit a 25-yard effort wide as Abingdon began to get behind the defence, and Jimmy Smith had a chance deflected over the bar in the 72nd minute.
With time running out, Burgess Hill went close when Hill flicked a long throw across the face of Abingdon's empty goal.
Adam Cann got clear on the edge of the area and drilled in a fine shot, but again the visiting keeper was equal to it.
Extra time saw United bring on all three substitutes, but Burgess had the best chances.
Streeter fired wide of the far upright, and with five minutes left, a speculative cross beat everyone and hit the wood- work.
