A new £1m media centre is starting to take shape at Oxford Brookes University.
The building will be a vital part of the campus and will house a reprographics department as well as computer graphics and design. It is scheduled to be completed in February 2001.
The centre has been designed by architects Gotch, Saunders and Surridge, who have offices in Kettering and Northampton.
Oxford Brookes has undertaken about £20m of development in the past five years.
Principal architect David Allsop said: "Oxford Brookes is a very dynamic organisation and this particular project has been very exciting to work on. This is one of the most important higher education projects in the Midlands region."
