A former teacher at Witney's Henry Box School has died of cancer at the age of 35.
Karen Exon, chemistry teacher and sixth form deputy head, had moved to Kent for promotion in 1999.
David Bell, head of sixth form, said she had led expeditions of Henry Box students to remote areas of the world, including Ecuador, Vietnam and Nepal. "She was very popular and well-known locally," he added
