Teachers and students from Sweden, Estonia and Germany have been visiting Cooper School in Churchill Road, Bicester, to discuss their mutual findings on environmental issues.
Under a special European Union project, the Oxfordshire pupils have linked-up with fellow students in the three countries.
They have built a display about their work in a classroom at the school and this week have acted as hosts to their overseas visitors.
Martin Rees, head of science, said: "This is the start of the second year of the project about water conservation and purification. The same work is being carried out in the three countries with whom we are linked."
