City of Oxford's A team finished second behind Tigers of Jersey in the second round of the Speedo League Southern Section at Bracknell.
David Denny won the men's open 100m butterfly with a time of 59.88 and Aaron Rose took the boys' 15 and under 100m breaststroke in 1.13.13.
In the boys' 13/u races, Jo Canlan-Shaw triumphed in the 100m breaststroke in 1.28.21, and John Kim was a double winner in the boys' 11/u 50m backstroke and butterfly.
Backstroke was the key for the girls as Katie Smith won the women's open 100m in 1.06.53, while Amy Crider won the 11/u 50m in 34.93.
City recorded four wins in the girls' relays. The 6x50m freestyle team of Jo Currie, Katherine Butler, Katie Smith, Clem Harris, Lucy Higton and Katie Scott won the women's open, while Clem Harris, Lauren Ottley, Lucy Higton and Amy Tutton took the 15/u 4x50m medley. City's 11/u relay girls took both the 4x50m freestyle and 50m medley.
City of Oxford B had an exciting second-place finish, only five points behind Bognor Regis at Temple Cowley.
Aaron Perrin recorded a double in the boys' 15/u 100m breaststroke and butterfly and Stuart Baker was also a double winner in the men's open 100m backstroke and 100m butterfly.
The boys' 15/u relay teams won both 4x50m freestyle and medley.
Witney continued their Winter League programme, finishing fifth in another closely-fought gala at Leamington Spa.
Fourteen-year-old Joanne Trask stormed to victory in the Ladies' Open freestyle to set a new 15/u club record and earn herself the runner-up vote for the swimmer-of-the-match.
There were two emphatic victories for Stacey Bailes. Chantal Clavaud's return to form brought victory in the 15/u girls backstroke and a personal best in the butterfly.
In the boys' events, Witney's only winner was Luke Wilmshurst, who took the 13/u breaststroke. James Cooper's efforts in the 13/u medley and freestyle relays and a pb in his backstroke earned him the swimmer-of-the-match award.
