From: David J Fox, of Cuddesdon Way, Blackbird Leys
Why is that a person who is only trying to make a living by doing something he is obviously good at, and he must be if he has been in this location for more than a decade now, is discriminated against by others who are supposedly better educated?
The Dons of this city should wake up to the fact that there is a big wide world outside of the college walls where the survival of families depend on the tenacity of people like Mr Barlow who is prepared to endure all types of weather to provide for his family.
Visitors to the area are looking to purchase good quality goods at a reasonable price as a memento of their visit. I am sure that the colleges would have a differing view if they received a cut in what I am sure are Mr Barlow's meagure profits, or are they just jealous that they did not dream up the idea of selling their own college materials at a reasonable price?
Good Luck to Mr Barlow and I hope that he continues in his enterprise.
