Oxford University, still unbeaten after seven matches, face their sternest test of the season when they take on a Major Stanley's XV containing 13 internationals at Iffley Road tomorrow (3pm), writes Michael Knox.
Ticket sales have been brisk for this prestige game which appears to have regained some of its lost lustre this year.
The only change from the advertised line-up sees former England centre Steve Ravenscroft cry off after breaking a hand while playing for London Welsh on Saturday. But his replacement isn't a bad one ex-Wales international Mike Rayer!
The Dark Blues are also fielding one of their stronger line-ups under talented skipper Jamie Weston.
The only absentees in the pack are prop Ray Lehner, who is on tour with the United States, and flanker Ed Hallett, who has a knee injury.
Dave Kelaher, the captain two years ago, is set to come in as a replacement after recovering from a back injury.
Behind the scrum, Oxford try out Sam Adlen and Werner van Pittius as a centre partnership, with the third candidate in that position Ross Jennings playing on the wing.
As car parking spaces near the ground are restricted, spectators are asked to find alternative means of transport. There is limited parking available at Magdalen College School.
