Oxford City's FA Umbro Trophy first round tie away to Folkestone Invicta, scheduled for last night, was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch for a third time.
The game was called off after the Dr Martens League Premier Division club's New Pavilion ground was hit by heavy overnight rain.
A Football League assistant referee from Maidstone inspected the pitch and, with drizzle still falling, he blew the whistle on the game at midday.
Now the two clubs will try again next Tuesday (November 21) with Thursday, November 23 set aside as a replay date.
City secretary John Shepperd said: "The referee said there was no way you could play it because the water was not getting away. It's very frustrating."
