Young Simon Welsh was the star of Berinsfield's BC's dinner-show at Cowley Conservative Club.
Welsh produced the performance of the night to outpoint Alan Edmonds, from the Torfan Warriors club in Wales.
Boxing in the 54 kilo class, the Oxfordshire youngster was soon on top with left-right combinations against the Wales champion, forcing him to take a standing eight count in the third round.
Berinsfield's Gavin Lissenden was also a unanimous points winner, while the host club's Mark Sadler and Ben Stewart both lost their bouts on points.
Around 160 diners attended the event.
