Liz Stevens, the assistant office manager at Henmans in Oxford, flew back from New York last week a tired but very happy fund-raiser.
Liz (pictured above running past her office) completed her 'Run for all our lives' by finishing the New York City Marathon in a time of 4 hrs 46 mins, beating her London Marathon time by more than a quarter of an hour.
At halfway, she had beaten her best-ever Half Marathon time but at the 20-mile mark started to feel discomfort from a toe she had broken earlier in the year. After completing "the double", Liz is now on target to collect the remainder of the 3,500 she has raised for Macmillan Cancer Relief.
