Weary shop and office workers in Oxford can now take a break at an experimental 'quiet room' in the city centre.
New Road Baptist Church, opposite the Westgate Centre, is welcoming workers who want a rest and to make a coffee.
Minister of the church Simon Carver said: "We are aware that some Oxford workers have nowhere to go at lunchtime.
"It could also be useful for workers who come from outside and don't have a base in Oxford.
The room is open 11am to 4pm weekdays until the end of the year.
