Dave Kemp is delighted with the progress Oxford United have made since he took charge two weeks ago. Over the past four days, for the first time in a long while, all four United teams have won, and Kemp believes it is a sign that things are changing.
"It's been a great week for the club, and it's nice to know I'm having an impact on things," he said. There hasn't been a noticeable difference in the players this week in training after the victory because they've all been fantastic since I've been here.
"But it's all about setting standards and I believe I'm doing that.
"You saw for yourself on Saturday that there was an improvement, and so we're obviously getting there."
There are no more signings lined up for United at the moment.
"There's not the rush there was last week because even if we did sign somebody, they couldn't play at the weekend," Kemp added.
Meanwhile, triallist Simon Vickers, who came on as a substitute in the reserves' win on Tuesday night, is no longer with the club.
