Two new Sunday cup competitions are to be launched by the Oxfordshire Cricket Board next season.
The OCB have decided to go ahead with the two new competitions a KO Cup and a 40-plus cup after inviting entries from clubs in the county.
They have taken the initiative on board in a bid to halt the overall decline of Sunday cricket in the county.
Both competitions are aimed at supplementing clubs' existing Sunday friendly fixtures.
Teams participating will play only a limited number of fixtures in the inaugural season, probably on a league basis.
Fixtures will be with clubs by the end of this month.
