Oxford University's quartet of Helen MacMullen, Paul Freeman, Nicola Cavill and Mike Palmer are setting a fast pace in Division 1 of the Five Disciplines League, writes Dick Hashman.
They scored a second 150 maximum from two outings and have established a lead of 39 points over nearest rivals Redefield.
The Dark Blues recorded a narrow 15-14, 15-10 mixed win through Freeman and MacMullen before romping through the following four disciplines without conceding double figures in any games.
Former champions Oxford & Radley were the opponents in the second round hosted by Abingdon at the European School, Culham.
Wantage blew their chances by fielding just one man.
Dave Boorman won both his events for Wantage to score 60 team points, but conceding the men's doubles sank them, Gosford Hill winning 116-73.
Demag's Chris Knapp and Louise Gardner took the opening mixed against Feathers, but that was the end of Demag's success as Feathers recorded four one-sided wins to emerge 142-71 winners.
Hosts Abingdon found Redefield too strong, although they also opened brightly by taking the mixed through John Pollard and Nam Ross 15-14, 15-13.
After that, everything went to Redefield until the final game, won 15-12 by Ross and Sylvie van Dycke.

Oxford Brookes' duo Christopher Priestley and Michael Kleist gave a powerhouse performance as the students beat Harwell 5-4 in men's Division 2 of the Oxford and District League.
In Division 4, Vale's Ryan Owen and Nick Carter gained their three rubbers, and with the support of a brace from Ian Hunt and George Brown, held off Park 5-4.
