GREYHOUND punters gave the thumbs-up to the new BAGS season by flocking to Oxford Stadium on Sunday.
The attendance was pleasantly surprising for the management, with a really good crowd turning out.
The racing office appear to be coping well with the influx of meetings this month.
Racing on 21 days out of 30 is a really hectic schedule which calls for all hands to the pumps.
It means extra hours for all, not least the trainers and their trusty hounds.
To help ease their burden, the racing office have recruited Corrina Saxton to assist with the busy racing schedule, mainly dealing with registrations and identity books.
The BAGS meetings and racecards are free to punters.
THE newly-sponsored Oxfordshire Trophy, which is being backed by Stadium bookmaker Jarrad Isherwood, gets under way on Tuesday, November 28 with three heats.
The 1,000 final is on Saturday, December 2, with supporting open races.
