Oxfordshire Senior Cup
**Marston Saints 2, Ardley Utd 1
Marston Saints, from the Oxfordshire Senior League, claimed the scalp of Hellenic League Division 1 high-fliers Ardley in Saturday's first round tie.
Ardley started strongly on a pitch that was only just playable, going ahead in the 43rd minute through Tucker.
In the second half, Ardley were twice caught on the break, the winner coming with two minutes remaining.
**Headington Am 0, Hook Norton 3
Another Senior League side, Hook Norton, also sprang a surprise by seeing off Hellenic League Headington. They fully deserved their win after a first-half performance that yielded two goals in the last three minutes through Knight and Thomas.
Despite dominating the second half, Headington could not find a way through, and a breakaway goal on 77 minutes from Knight sealed Hook Norton's place in the next round.
**Bicester Tn 3, Ruscote Sp 1
Bicester had an easier time against Senior Leaguers Ruscote Sports and their victory was more convincing than the scoreline suggests.
The visitors took an early lead on six minutes through Jimmy Primrose, but Bicester's superiority shone through as the game progressed and goals from Mickey Marshall, Paul Hammond and Marcus McGillycuddy sealed it.
**Garsington 0, Easington Sp 7
Easington produced a polished performance to see off brave Garsington.
Sports scored at regular intervals throughout the game, with Adam Witherall (2), Karl Wade (2), Nicky Gordon, Stuart Fleming and veteran Dave Foreman on target, the latter with a 30-yard screamer.
**Henley Tn 6, Kidlington 1
Kidlington had three players sent off in what was never an ill-tempered game.
Henley led 1-0 at the break but Kidlington equalised through Frazer Gills.
The match was then turned on its head as Gills went off for two bookable offences.
Shortly afterwards, Kidlington keeper Keith Mitchell received his marching orders for violent conduct, and on 75 minutes, Emit McGovern saw red for his second yellow card.
Henley took full advatage against eight men.
**Woodstock Tn 1, Clanfield 2 (aet)
Returning from injury after two months on the sidelines, Paul Franklin was the Clanfield hero, scoring twice, including an extra-time 'golden goal'.
Paul Stone put Town ahead on 28 minutes but Franklin forced the equaliser ten minutes later.
After a goalless second half, and with penalties looming, Franklin scored the winner.
**Eynsham 2, Middle Barton 3
Middle Barton stormed into a 3-0 lead, with goals from Ian Fraser, Tony Bott and Paul Anderson in the first 25 minutes, but were then given a scare.
Eynsham got back into the game through Gerrard and Simon King, and it needed a fine double save from keeper Chris Coles to see Barton home.
**Worcs Coll OB 2, Goring Utd 0
A Nick East double either side of the break was enough to settle this tie.
Goring battled bravely but Old Boys should have scored a hatful of goals.
**North Leigh 5, Highmoor 1
Skipper Sean Bott helped himself to a hat-trick as North Leigh proved too strong for Highmoor of the Reading Senior League.
Nick Hughes opened North Leigh's account in the 16th minute and Bott added two more goals before the break.
Andy McCabe and Bott completed the nap hand before spirited Highmoor scored a consolation through Martin Sarvar.
