Oxford Devils continued their impressive form this season when they beat a stubborn Cardiff team 109-75 at Oxford Brookes to secure a semi-final place in the National Trophy.

Having taken the first quarter 33-25, the Devils began to wear their opponents down.

Their greater strength in depth began to tell, and with OJ Choutka, Steve Riley and Todd McNeill playing with determination, the visitors began to crumble.

Oxford led at the half by ten points and, as much as Alexander and Jones tried, they could not match the Devils' team depth.

Keith Kelly started to make his mark in the third quarter, Devils extending their lead to 23-9.

The fourth quarter was academic with the home team rotating the bench to secure a win to take their season record to nine wins and just one deferat.
