David Pringle, a 14-year-old featherweight from Bicester, had a debut to remember for Wolvercote ABC at the Vickers Supermarine Club, in Swindon.
He went on the attack from the start against Chris Rees-Bains of Walcot, Swindon, forcing a standing count in the first round before the referee stepped in to halt the bout in the second.
Pringle was voted the best visiting boxer of the night.
Wolvercote light-middleweight Chris Woods, from Marston, was another quick winner against Wayne Wyatt, of the Bronx ABC, Gloucester.
Wyatt, who won the NABC Championship in 1999, got his tactics wrong and tried to mix it with 25-year-old Woods, who sent him crashing to the canvas.
He survived the first round, but it was not long before he was floored in the second, whereupon his corner man threw in the towel.
Paul Joyce, Wolvcercote's 18-year-old, 22-stone super-
heavyweight, in his ninth contest, beat the experienced Harold Scott, of Walcot, Swindon, on a unanimous points decision.
