The firm carrying out restoration work as part of a £6.5m project at the Bodleian Library in Oxford has won an award.
Linford-Bridgeman was awarded the RICS Building Conservation Award 2000, and an Oxford Preservation Trust Award for the work the company completed on the refurbishment and conservation of the Duke Humfrey's Library.
The award recognises the contribution made to the preservation and enhancement of Oxford's heritage.
The firm is now working on the second phase of the project at The Bodleian, which will involve the refurbishment of the Upper Reading Rooms and surrounding rooms.
