Parents joined children at a numeracy evening aimed at showing maths can be fun.
To try to convince any doubters, Julie Jeffery maths co-ordinator at Chilton Primary School, near Didcot, and colleagues even laid on "mathematical refreshments (cakes and biscuits) and the children made their own maths badges.
The evening was part of the school's numeracy week when children and adults took part in a variety of activities, competitions and games. "We wanted everyone to have fun with numbers," said Mrs Jeffery.
