Quarry Nomads are up in arms after being fined 100 by the league for crying off on the morning of a game.

Nomads found they were unable to raise a side for the Division 1 East fixture at Henley Town on Saturday October 7, the day of England's international against Germany.

Nomads learned this week that they had been fined 100 and must pay 69.50 to Henley for match expenses.

"I think it's wrong that the league are taking money from us," said Quarry secretary Keith Dolton.

"All our players pay a subscription and we can't make them play. We've got no way of raising money and the fine will have to come out our funds.

"I've got a good mind not to pay it."

Tomorrow, Quarry entertain Wantage Town in the preliminary round of the RPM Records Supplementary Cup.

Middle Barton name an unchanged squad as they bid to make it five straight wins when they visit Headington Amateurs in the first round.

Further heavy rain could put North Leigh's Complete Music Cup second round tie against Premier Division leaders Highworth Town in doubt.

Big defender Mark Lewis is still doubtful with a back problem, but Lee Kilfoyle is available after missing last week's 5-1 Oxon Senior Cup win over Highmoor.

Didcot Town have injury doubts over Andy Cooper and Andy Graham as they take on Fairford Town in the second round at the Loop Meadow Stadium.
