Two men were appearing in court today (Fri)in connection with an armed robbery at Benson post office earlier this month, where the postmistress and her son were assaulted.
John William Lamb, 27, and Joseph Edward Lamb, 26, both of Waddesdon, near Aylesbury, face three charges arising from the November 6 incident.
Both are accused of armed robbery and assault causing grievous bodily harm on the 56-year-old postmistress, Mrs Cindy Olley. They are also charged with assaulting her 37-year-old son, Mr Darren Olley, causing actual bodily harm.
