Expansion at independent baker Warburtons has led to new jobs at its Bicester depot.
The base, which delivers bread to retailers in Oxfordshire, Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Northamptonshire and Wiltshire, has recently recruited three new drivers and a despatch worker.
Manager Martin Alder said: "We are delighted to welcome them. They join a great team here in Bicester.
"The company feels it is important to recruit local people for jobs at the depot."
David Colman, of Banbury, works from 8pm to 6.30am five nights a week sorting bread deliveries for drivers.
New drivers include Amon O'Neil, of Bicester, Kenneth Stevens, of Banbury, and David Powell, of Bicester. They start work at 4am delivering thousands of loaves to retailers in time for opening hours.
