Reigning champions Milton United cruised to a comfortable 6-0 victory at the home of one of their main rivals, Brewery Tap, writes Mick Day.
The impressive win takes them four points clear at the top of the table with three games in hand over their closest challengers Sandman.
Milton's marksmen were Matty Shelton (2) Tom Larman, Darren Toomey, Wayne Harbert and John Lovegrove.
Second-placed Sandman recovered from their recent lean spell with a 1-0 win against strugglers Saxton Rovers thanks to a 25th-minute strike by Dave Humphreys.
At the top of Division 2, Long Wittenham lost ground on the leaders with a 2-2 draw at Burford United.
They took an early lead with a Tom Young header but United equalised before the break when Mike Haynes struck his first goal of the season.
Del Hewson gave the west Oxon side a 2-1 lead as they began to dominate, with Oliver Whitehall and Darren Lewis both going close. But Andy Dix rescued a point for the visitors with a 25-yard strike that skidded off the mud to beat Paul Bradley in the Burford goal.
Ewelme and JET fought out a mid-table 3-3 draw, with Joe Law (2) and Tommy Smith on target for the home side and JET replying through Jon Wright, Andrew Underwood and Nic May.
In Division 3A, leaders Forest Hill had to work hard to fight off the challenge from The Vine.
After Brian Loughlin gave Vine an early lead, Forest replied through Andy Rowland (2) and Paul Thrussell. But strikes by Paul Currill and sub Craig Dandridge tied it at 3-3 before Rowland snatched a late winner as the Vine defence struggled to clear a corner.
Second-placed Crown kept up the pressure with a comfortable 6-0 win over bottom club AFC Kidlington. Their marksmen were Huw Mellor (3), Tristan Barratt (2) and Peter Tutty.
Division 3A leaders George & Dragon notched up their tenth consecutive win, beating Hampstead Norreys 3-0 with goals coming from Des Healy, J R Willis and a 25-yarder from Shaun Messenger.
UKAEA Harwell took a 2-0 lead against Wallingford Exiles through Craig Taylor and Mark Tierney, but, after they used all of their subs, Darren Potter was carried off with a broken collarbone.
Against ten men, Exiles came back to win 4-2 with strikes from Mark Littleford (2), Matt Peates and Ben Cleave.
EAST Hendred moved into the last eight of the Devenney Cup with a comprehensive 9-1 victory over The Dolphin.
A hat-trick in the first 18 minutes from Mark Hendry set them up with Barry Fisher also notching a treble and Jason Fisher, Chris Slevin and sub Tom Atkins completing the scoring. Danny Marks netted for the visitors.
Hendred visit the winners of the tie between first division Brightwell and AFC Crowmarsh from Division 3A who drew 1-1. Craig Fisher gave Crowmarsh the lead , Darren Clark equalising.
Meanwhile, King Alfred's Head moved into the last eight of the Ridgeway Cup with a 7-3 win against Rutherford Lab. James Buchanan hit four.
