By Maggie Hartford Teenage computer buffs in Oxfordshire are being invited to compete for grants and advice worth 20,000 by Young First Tuesday.

The organisation, an offshoot of the First Tuesday Internet network, aims to encourage young people to become entrepreneurs.

Microsoft is offering a grant for the most promising technical idea or business plan, and games company EGO Maniacs is offering a grant for most promising games idea.

The project, which has raised 75,000 in sponsorship, has launched a poster campaign inviting 14 to 19-year-olds to register.
