The 'skunk' that's ska-punk to you night at The Wheatsheaf, Oxford, planned for February 16 featuring The Drug Squad, pictured, and Splitters has been postponed due to a double-booking but The Drug Squad will be playing at Klub Kakoffaney, again at The Wheatsheaf, on April 6 and at the Legalise Cannabis March in London in May, writes Tim Metcalfe.

The band, which has risen from the ashes of that much-loved live outfit Retrogen, has been attracting a lot of local interest of late thanks to their eponymous EP and storming live shows. You can check out and download some of their tracks on peoplesound.com.

And for lovers of 'skunk' we are told that more nights are planned at this popular city centre venue, which has helped fill the void left by the sad demise of The Elm Tree.
